I don't know how they got to this point. Both of them stored in separate places.
I thought something sticky leaked on them. But there's nothing that can leak in my pen holder.
They slowly created this highly sticky soft skin. I can't even hold them now, impossible to draw.Anybody had the same experience?

Just rubbed them with alcohol but nothing changed. My pens are posessed by the goo of evil

someone made a nice patch to make the drivers work for some of the older models on the newer mac osx:

frankly they did the job wacom are supposed to be doing....

This has happened to me with a few plastic things over the years, it's like the skin breaks down. I use WD40 on a bit of kitchen roll to take it off.
It happened on some tools and even the coating on a belt buckle I had did it.

There's various solutions online. Though these folk say WD40 doesn't work and to use a different solution.

This happened to me on several devices after cleaning them with isopropyl alcohol. I’d put money it’s from that.

My AIAIAI TMA-1 headphones did the same thing after being stored unused for a year or two? They had a rubber coating on them. Just some sort of material degradation?
Saying that, I just had my Wacom shipped from my work (post-lockdown), so I'll report back if it's all fucked up after it arrives.
