Looks nice. Has anyone been able to download it yet?
- Hombre_Lobo1
^no not yet, some people have been given access along with invites.
I'd love an invite if anyone has one!Although I'd feel kinda bad as it might be wasted on me as I don't do a lot of super complex programming,
On another note I'm gonna test out adobes brackets soon -
http://brackets.io/
Looks to have some brilliant features!

Anyone using this code editor at work?
- All the kids are using VSCode. Honestly, as long as it's using an LSP, it doesn't matter. I use Neovim, and couldn't be happier.section_014
- doubt it. it's all visual studio code now.uan
- VSC is a bit on the heavy side no?i_was
- it's just an editor with built in terminal and extensions for everything. open source. freeware. best thing microsoft ever published.uan
- Yep VS Code is very goodsausages
- I agree it's good, MS does good stuff nowadaysi_was

Any other sublime users out there?

I was undecided between Atom and Brackets and I chose Brackets.
I'm very happy.
Before I tried Vim but was really not for me and also used Gedit.
- I'm still on Atom. What do you like about Brackets?dbloc
- Others at my work use VS Codedbloc
- ouch just saw this on the website.
On September 1, 2021, Adobe will end support for Brackets. If you would like to continue using, maintaining, and improving Brdbloc - fucking helloey_oey
- I like it cause it's simple, works well and it doesn't feel heavy. I was hoping for some sort of integration with Illustrator and Photoshop.oey_oey
- Also, I was starting to use it than I did a 6 months webdesign training and they were using it as main text editor which just helped me to get better on itoey_oey
- I don't want to use Microsoft!!! LOL!oey_oey
- I guess it's Atom then. If it works with the browser! Honestly i liked the principle behind it, Brackets was just easier to start with.oey_oey
- Atom is lightweight, it is built with JS and the Chrome interface, it feels like a web app but it's very good, astonishing. I don't use it with a browser soi_was
- can't help you therei_was
- Gedit is completely out of date compared to the offers todayi_was
- Vim is tricky like most GNU editorsi_was
- Gedit is like Windows Notepad but much betteri_was

Seriously?
Q #3) Is the Atom owned by Microsoft?
Answer: Atom is owned by GitHub which in turn is acquired by Microsoft. So, if you ask about the actual owner, it is the GitHub.

VSCode is also owned by MS. I used Atom before but it is a pain to setup. VSCode is basically Atom but with good defaults.
- To setup? so you used Atom with a browser? for web dev?i_was
- Used it for golang. Had a nice formatter and compile on save function. Haven't used golang or Atom since. I use VSC for web work (Laravel & Hugo), and Python noskinny_puppy

If Atom works with the browser great, I don’t need that many plugins.
But VSC giving the possibility to set it up like Brackets is very tempting

To me VSC wins it, wonderful code editor, btw Brackets has glitches in the fonts when you zoom, that's pathetic.
