I've had one of these for a while with the pancake lense and am looking for a telephoto lense as I will be doing some serious travelling next year. Any of you's out there have a GF1/GF2 that can recommend a lense?

Also interested in this as I have a GF1. I bought a CCTV lens recently to shoot some stuff & a holga lens. Both really cheap & fun, but not high quality at all.

I have a gf1 with pancake 20mm, back when I was shooting a lot more I was leaning towards the Oly 60mm f/2.8 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product…
but that's because I really like shooting a fixed focal length. the 45 1.8 caught my eye as well

i used to have a gf1, lovely little cam.
given how it doesnt have in built image stabalisation (which is particularly vital for tele lenses), you'd need to get a lens with optical stabilisation.
Theres the 45-200mm
(which should be fairly inexpensive these days, its decent, exhibits slight softness from 150-200, but its still good)or the newer 45-150mm -
(which is designed to work well with video, hence the HD logo on it, in so far that it has stepless aperture and iirc it should have silent electronic zooming + silent autofocus)i expect the 45-150mm to be a fair bit sharper as the 45-200mm is quite old and the modern panasonic lenses are getting great scores on dxomark.

I can vouch for that 45-100mm above. It's a workhorse for nature shots.
I still use my 20mm pancake however like it's the only thing I can attach to it.

I own the GH2 and like jasontroj above, I mainly use the 20mm Pancake for the shallow depth of field. But I got a Panasonic 45-200 zoom and it rocks also. Plus it was only $300. I really like this family of cameras.

Lumix takes Olympus m4/3 lenses
- oh yeh it absolutely does. but it will sadly be lacking stabilisation. oly do IBIS. the GX7 however now has IBIS! :DHombre_Lobo
- to be clear, nearly all pana m43 do in lens stabilisation. oly do in camera stabilisation.Hombre_Lobo

Anyone recommend an external directional flash for the GF1?
