New update available, including the new CC versions of software.
Does that mean I'm supposed to uninstall CS6 versions and reinstall the CC versions?
- mirrorball0
Trying to download it myself, it wont download from Safari
- chrisRG0
Just updated it, I manually removed CS6.
Photoshop seems faster.
- ohhhhhsnap0
people are pissed and venting about it on their fb page = i'm going to wait a couple days.

Already got copies of the whole thing at Adobe MAX

I believe you just use Adobe Application Manager and run the updates.
- nope, not updates... they install alongside CS6kingsteven

in the past versions have not conflicted (on OSX at least). I've had 3/4/5 installed at the same time at one point

Hmm, CS6 has an uninstall menu item which seems to work fairly OK. Guess I'll just do one at a time when I've got time.
- CS6 also installed uninstall apps for each of the apps you want to uninstallmonospaced
- Are there uninstall apps for the uninstall apps?nb
- Kidding, of course.nb
- I believe there are reinstall apps for the uninstallers you unintentionally uninstalled, that you may need to reinstallmonospaced

I thought something was fucked up with my Adobe App Updater, but they combined it into the Cloud app. Nice. Like how it's easily accessible in the menu bar. Just wish they had told me.
Guess I'll be downloading apps the rest of the day.

Will Adobe every make a product that actually works?
No wonder that Apple and Steve Jobs killed Flash!- can I second your statement towards Apple and Microsoft as well?chrisRG
- Why yes, yes you can!utopian
- All of them work though.monospaced

Adobe's Creative Cloud Has Already Been Pirated
- :Dbenfal99
- ForcementD4W33D
- Uh, title is wrong. Creative Cloud wasn't pirated, just fucking Photoshop, which is just 1 of many apps/featuresmonospaced

..also sounds like they might consider doing a Microsoft180°™

- so fucking what?monospaced

- yeah, tab open on my laptop from 2 days ago... replied to OP, realised it's the same fucking thread... cue "whaa"kingsteven
- my point being "just install em both". not "whaa, look at all them apps..." derpkingsteven

pssst, I'll let you in on a secret: Photoshop is just a miniscule part of CC
- and you can't pirate the second C anywaysmonospaced
- also, taked to a senior adobe guy about it once said "well, photoshop wouldn't be in the dictionary if it had never been pirated."kingsteven
- ...pirated"kingsteven
- Yeah, but "cracking" one app is not getting Adobe CC.monospaced
- This isn't pirating, it's cracking.monospaced
- Yar, all i'm saying is there's folks in adobe that give as little of a shit as i do that it's happened.kingsteven
- oh, for sure, and I don't give a fuck either reallymonospaced
- In the past, if you cracked Photoshop, you got everything.CyBrainX

30,000+ sign petition against mandatory CC subscription model:
- wonder what % of signatories are using cracked copies of CS :)kingsteven
- This just reveals how many studios and small business have been stealing the software for years and are now bitchingmonospaced
- are now bitching about itmonospaced
- ..says the guy who works for a corporate.detritus
- I am also a personal subscriber, dude.monospaced
- prophetone0
- It made my software cheaper so far, if they quadruple the price it might do that but hey...zarkonite
- i_monk0
I don't know about "robbing", but Adobe might find it's priced itself out of the market for a lot of smaller businesses and individuals. If a competitor were to launch real alternatives to their programs at this point it could be the fumble that brings them down.
- People have been saying that for yearshereswhatidid
- for me, the subscription pricing did the opposite: it made it possible for me to have the software instead of spending $3000monospaced
- $3000 for hte whole suite.monospaced
- yupprophetone
- Yolo0
gonna cost me £500 more over the same time period for CC, and I use most of the suite.. will hit the small co's and individuals if only do one thing, web, print etc
- $600/yr subscription
vs
$3000+ for entire suitemonospaced - you'd be saving a fortune, actually, unless you use the same CS for 4 years before upgradingmonospaced
- one company I worked for still use fucking cs2. well it's got everything they need...pango
- costs more in UK, $850 per yr. every year.Yolo
