Any recommendations?
I have used a Nikon 1. Was nice, esp. super slomo HD video.
Any other good ones?

LOVE my Sony NEX5N.
If I had the spare cash i'd upgrade to a newer upper model.Got the 18-55 lens, Pancake, The Wide Angle extension and also a SLR Magic 35mm (CCTV) lens.
I'd love the 18-200 Tamron lens

Fuji XF-1 or X-Pro1
Olympus OM-DSony's are nice, too, just don't have that retro style.

NEX: Larger sensor, higher dynamic range
GX1: Better lens options, more lenses, smaller lenses

When I was camera shopping just over a year ago I was looking to replace my Ricoh GX100 as a small and good quality allrounder that could be used for hipsots, snapshots or delving more into technical shots. My Ricoh followed a few years of only shooting film on Lomos/Holgas etc. I felt that the Ricoh felt similar.
When shopping I was basically comparing the Panasonic GFs, Olympus EPs and the Sony Nex5N. It came down to a tossup between the GF and the Sony.
IF the GF had been available with the expensive extendable/colapsible X lens (or whatever it was called) at the time then I may have got that as some reviews were favouring this camera. But I did kind of prefer the look and feel of the SOny.
I ended up getting the 5N, and got a good deal on it too with the 18-55 lens.
