first off, let me say i'm awful. i just like to make it down the mountain...but i would like to try and progress a bit. maybe hit a jump or two.
i'm currently rolling on a hand-me-down burton floater 158 with some "fisher price"style burton bindings. although it's been fine, i'd love to get on a smaller(both length and width) and more flexible board.
been looking at either some lib tech banana boards or the burton custom. suggestions please.

post up your stats, height, weight, foot length, nose length, etc.

one quickie helper might be burton's board finder app. even if burton is not yer style, it may help you nail down some gear sizing.

i've got a 168w custom myself, good all mountain, good flex. i've heard good things about the skate bananas altho can't ride one myself. magnetraction ftw.

Lib Tech, banana tech with mange-traction (mtx), I will never go back to anything else. I have ridden tons of different boards over the past 18 years on tons of different terrain/snow/states and it is the best thing ever invented. ever.
- would love to get a banana but my Sasquatch boot size insists on wider decks, a bummer curseprophetone

and yeah, the burton board finder at least can help you find the size for you vs. the cut you like/wanna try. If you can demo a few of the new cuts/brands in one day, that will help a ton.
