IMO screwpost binding makes for a difficult experience for the user. A few years back I put together a series of 60+ page books that were screwpost bound. The pages were portrait orientation and made for a really frustrating browsing experience as the pages required constant tension to keep the spread open. The book also would never lay flat.
That being said it's cheap and fairly easy to do. Bindery should be determined by content and the type of browsing experience you want your user to have. Books as objects d'art are so passe, IMO.
- I almost typed the same thing. Would be even worse with only 10 pages of thick paper inside.monospaced

You don't necessarily need a lot of pages. There are different lengths and widths of screw bindings out there, that can accommodate as few as 20 pages.
Just an opinion: screw binding looks tacky.
