From what I understand, part of the "proof" is that one of the parents was smiling on tape and chatting with the press before he went on the news and gave his statement.
1. Guy was smiling on camera
2. ???
3, They were all actors, giant government conspiracyPossible that the guy was just acting normal and human?

Now being reported that there was no assault weapon used and that he was denied when trying to buy a rifle because of a background check. This refutes a video conference put on by the police chief there that said there was an assault rifle found.
I don't buy into the elaborate conspiracy theory that's been going around, but this is a pretty weird turn of events...

Every time I read threads like this, I'm frankly thankful I don't like in the US. On an individual level, I get on very well with quite a number of you (mind you, they're expats), but frankly the atmosphere in your country must be fucking toxic intellectually and emotionally with all of this hyper-freak-out media, conspiracy theories, political debates that belong in the 18th century.
Don't you people get tied of all that, and wish you could progress at an even-tempered and cool-headed level, free of drama bombardment?
- thankful I don't live in the US, rather.Continuity
- all it means is you choose your news sources more carefully. it's easy to not be a sheepscarabin
- Sigh. An Edit button would be ace.Continuity
- Lol at you believing it's being bought into by everyone here.albums
- Your statement assumes we're all fixated on fox news waiting for our next thought to be beamed in our brainsalbums
- Well, an outsider can only conclude based on what's presented to him, right? Perhaps us outsiders wouldn't conclude that if that notion of your country wasn't the only one presented to us.Continuity
- ... that if that notion of your country wasn't the only one presented to us.Continuity
- things are a little fucked here but they're so much more fucked in other places. the US is still an amazing place to livescarabin
- I am glad people who dont live in the US are immune to thinking and free individualistic expression.yurimon
- scarabin is spot on, American people are good people, its the management thats the problemmoldero
- and "management" is not necessarily the government as their mostly controlled by corporationsmoldero

America is a democracy, right? Exactly how do you intend extract the politics from the system?
- 74LEO0
Give me a lie detector test and all these kids who shot people and GAME OVER.
- 74LEO0
The more people attach themselves to politics instead of coming together as americans the more we will drift apart. Democrat and Republican party is a 2 headed monster put in place to keep us apart. Vote, take sides, hate one another all the while the politicians make large salaries to do relatively nothing.
- It may have that effect, but was the system consciously designed that way? I'm skeptical..ukit2
- The entirety of US political history is based on binary thinking: Republicans v Loyalists to the Crown, North v South, Dems v RepsContinuity
- ... Dems v RepsContinuity
- its the illusion of choice, one of many distractions, while they do what they do.moldero

But that majority, due to their self centered actions, will never be united. Ever.- This majority is quite unified and has done countless horrible acts to achieve what they want.74LEO
- like?
Morning_star - come on morning star! your bi-line says it all on your website74LEO
- True. But to question authority there needs to be authority. Anarchy won't work.Morning_star
- 74LEO0
If you don't think there is an unspoken majority in america that will do horrible things to get what they want then you my friend are an idiot.
- ironically, the majority of Americans are Christian... go figure, those hypocritical gun-toting fucksmonospaced

Noam Chomsky once said (regarding 9/11) that in any big, chaotic event, there will be strange occurrences and unexplained details.
This is what most conspiracy theorists do - they argue backwards from finding inconsistencies and things that can't be explained, as if one unexplained detail somehow proves the existence a huge, complex plan by the powers that be. In doing so, they usually ignore the logical gaps and inconsistencies on the other side of the equation...for instance, if the Twin Towers were actually demolished by explosives, why fly planes into them in the first place?
Ultimately it's driven by a need for the world to make sense. On some psychological level people don't like the idea that random, disturbing events happen that no one can control. So they invent a story for themselves that tells them Bush or Obama is really in control of everything, even if it's in a negative way.
- < ThisMorning_star
- Yup.nb
- Noam Chomsky said it... Nothing more to discuss here, move along nowalbums
- Yeah. 911 is poor example because there is alot of outspoken scientists, debunked official story. chomsky is right on some things not all thingsyurimon
- few things, but other sources have debunked. its poor example.yurimon
- demolish them because plans could not topple them straight down.74LEO
- this does not sound like Noam. Got a link?74LEO
- The opinion of a few people with a science degree doesn't mean something was debunked...there are many more who disagreeukit2
- more who disagree...ukit2
- well I guess you need to become a scientist to really find out. lol.yurimon
- Hey, Noam Chomsky isn't the only person who has said this. People with even stronger credentials have studied it.nb

Why in the world would this be a conspiracy?
So that Obama has reason and public support to take away your 2nd Amendment rights??
He sure didn't need any public support to attack the 4th and 6th Amendment!

@ Yurimon
Truth is subjective. Facts are not. Given that there are speculations in that SH Conspiracy video that have been shown to be incorrect why continue promoting bullshit. Change it and move on. The promotion of fiction as truth consistently undermines any credibility a conspiracy theory may have.- haha. Truth is not subjective. Its either true or not. You can be ignorant of the truth, which most are because we are not all knowing.yurimon
- all knowing. What i post is provoking for debate. your subjective opinion.yurimon
- you can have some elements in an argument true while other elements not.yurimon
- just because some one posts something doesnt mean 100% of its content is true. debunk sht its all good. I like a good debunkingyurimon
- No you can't. The facts are presented to prove the argument. If they are not facts...Morning_star
- ...there is no argument.
Morning_star - I am still trying to determine the facts. Like i said we are removed from this situation. our only insight is what is in the media and online.yurimon
- and what we see online. its doesnt make it a verifiable fact. you need to fact check like a reporter to be sure.yurimon
- Just look at the Snopes report. The claims that video makes are debunked with checkable facts.Morning_star
- Morning_star0
It's not that asking questions is the problem.
It's the inability to accept truth and change opinion when proof is shown or a logical explanation is been given. That shit just cray.- We are somewhat removed from total truth. you would have to submerge your self and go investigate. I knew someone who is a reporter on a controversial subject. they are lucky to be alive.yurimon
- is a reporter on a controversial subject. they are lucky to be alive.yurimon

and I find it insulting that we are categorised as conspiracy theorist just for asking questions and exploring other avenue of thought,
I find it even more insulting that those insulting us are perfectly fine living in a world where the institutions that almost put them in the street are still getting bailouts, the same corporations that produced agent orange now produce O.G.Ms and I have to debate so called smart people trying to convince me that a ex weapon of mass destruction maker is now working for the good of the world,
I find it insulting that the same people believe their government will never do what they do to brown people around the world to them, because you know that never happened to them so who cares,
I find it insulting that no matter what fact of history you can bring up to to prove that there are and always will be not so secret institutions that work to fill up their vaults while millions perish,
you are still labeled a conspiracy theorist instead of a realist, fuck, what a weird world we live in

//insultedalbums - ahahahah because you still don't get it, I worked for years in canada, I'm married with a canuck, my cock is half maple syrupGeorgesII

- what point did I bring up that is nuts? or do you care only with what happens in america? please explainGeorgesII
- Ask yourself the same fucking question. "their government," "brown people." Sounds like YOU only care about America.monospaced

it is not the philipinos invading other countriesGeorgesII - I rest my case. We're talkign about America here and you STILL accuse others of only caring about Americamonospaced
