Anybody have any great examples of a voice & tone page out of a band book?

a band book? sorry for being completely in the dark but what the hell does that mean?
i'm guessing it means exactly what you are asking for, but i've never come across any such example that hasn't come out of a third party type of thing such as pitchfork.
