i have these cheap Sony ones, but the bass and general tone is amazing. really. i had Sennheisers that costs 4 times as much and doesn't sound anything close to these Sonys.
maybe a year old now, but the left earpiece broke, physically. still works, but the plastic cracked. i'm replacing them and getting the same ones.

Very cheap but seem to get decent reviews.

Wow. Lots of love for sennheiser.
Anyone use any of their earbuds, any model in particular?
(apple like ones, not the little in ear things)

Sennheiser all the way, the standard white buds are tinny and distorted compared to most of their models for allround music listening
- AKG is a matter of taste imhoWeyland
- Agreed, I'm a Sennheiser fan, too.Continuity
- yeah been using their wireless ones for 5 years now for the entertainment center, love emmoldero
- I love sennheiser too, I only have headphones though, no earphones from themMiguex

Everyone disses the new iPhone headphones, yet I guess it's more a love/hate thing really. I think they're decent for the money. The mic works nicely and most of my Apple headphones have actually lasted longer than some of my Klipsch, Bose, Ultimate Ears and Sennhieser headphones. They also get treated with less respect because they're technically free.

- probably better than Bose or Beats, but they have rubber tips :)Miguex

Being that you are into your music, maybe some dual driver/balanced amature monitors?
Comply memory foam tips not silicon.
AF78s are $200
http://www.audiofly.com/headphon…- my problem w tips is that they are loose inside the ear canal, which I consider extremely dangerous. for sound quality, I have a great set up at home :)Miguex
- have a great set up at home, and work often in front of function1 / pk sound systems :)Miguex
- these tips mold to the shape of your ear canal like ear plugs. They can make you a custom mold though :)slappy
- and not many studio monitors have an mic and remote button option :)slappy
- no one 'monitors' with eaplugs, thats mastering 101 :)
no loose parts in my ear canal, molded or not :)Miguex
