    Hi Guys,

Just wondering what everyones favourite software is for prototyping apps. I basically want something that can create a click through mock up of an iPhone app using high fidelity jpgs. Ive seen a lot of stuff out there and it all seems kind of mediocre.

Being able to do some basic animations would be an added bonus.

I would also be able to like to give the prototype to a client to use on their own phone.

    Thanks in advance

learn the basics of xcode and storyboarding. it's fairly easy and you'll be able to do all transitions, etc... in a working app.

    • how can the client use it on their own phone when you're only able to run it in the ios simulator?spot131/2

Does anyone have experience with AppCooker? It seems pretty good. Has anybody every viewed an mock app using AppTaster? Seems like it might be the ideal solution?

Another one I have been looking at is Prototypes 1.0. AppCooker likes more like a full solution though.

    Any thoughts on this?
    Thanks

After doing some more research it seems like AppCooker is not capable of doing animations.

Basically what would be the ideal solution here is:

-An app I can import jpgs of my UX into
-I can animated my jpgs and create hotspots
-I can then export this mock app and distribute it to my client so they can see it on their iPhone

The web based stuff doesn't seem to work because everything is viewable in the browser and you can see the address bar which immediately breaks the illusion that its an app...

    Thanks again!
