This makes me think of what happened to The Descent. Seriously, read the book. The book is AWESOME. It's basically about the premise that if we believe in a real, tangible God, then we likewise have to believe in a real tangible Satan, that lives inside of the earth. It could have easily been a 2 part movie. Instead, what we got was a movie loosely based on the book that was still kind of cool, but didn't really follow even 10% of the book. Creatures living under ground was as close as it got to it.
- Read about it here: http://en.wikipedia.…mg33
- It says the film is not based on the bookukit2
- Sounds like a good book thoughukit2
- It is slightly based on it - underground creatures. could have done so much more.mg33
- And yes, it's a great read. Long and a little slow in the middle, but one of my favorites.mg33

I want to see it but my wife refuses to because Brad Pitt's crazy partner chopped off her boobies and didn't even have breast cancer.
- she's not in the film though?cruddlebub

dasohr - There are many women who chose to take what seems like extreme preventativeGM278
- measures rather than wait til they have cancer and suffer through chemoGM278
- That's quite possibly one of the most literally-retarded things I've ever heard in my life.detritus

I liked it. It wasn't as good as I was hoping though. It seemed to lack tension. There we tense moments, but for the most part, I wasn't really worried about any of the characters.
Also, fooler, I can't tell if you're being serious not. I hope not.
My girlfriend went through the same procedure a few months before that whole Angelina thing.
My girlfriend watched her mother battle breast cancer growing up, then chemo caused ovarian cancer, then (about a year ago) chemo caused blader cancer which left her tied to a catheter for the rest of her life.
GMZ278, suffer through chemo, the possibly of more cancer, and huge medical bills on the +85% chance you'll develop cancer or get new boobs and ~5% chance of living cancer free?

Very shitty kids movie. I should've walked out after 15 mins and got my money back.
In one scene, as the whole world is falling apart and billions of people are dying, Brad Pitt is in an airplane full of people who are sleeping like babies. WTF!
If you're older than 8 and liked this movie, you're retarded

if they'd done the movie as it had been written, it would have been a wonderful ensemble piece...
and ensemble pieces don't feed Brad Pitt's 37 children.
