Been using version 1.0 for a while and at first was quite expensive but signed up during the holidays and turned out to be 50%, so gave it a try.
Been using it more and more.
Version 2.0 is coming out and looks pretty sick: http://www.beta.thrivesolo.com?k…...

I'm intrigued by Solo, but ultimately it feel it has otherized itself by pushing the alternative design so hard. And I'm too comfy with http://www.getharvest.com.

Just my biased opinion since I have a product in the same space, but it looks as if they designed it to look pretty instead of actually considering usability.
Would look great on television or a movie...not so great if you have to live in the product and use it every day.

It's the best of it's kind that I've used. The first version definitely lacked some features but they're very good at implementing user suggestions quickly. The fact that it looks half decent makes it easier to use regularly, although the styling on the update looks like it might be a bit over the top, based on those the previews.

There were definitely a lot of unintuitive stuff at the beginning but as Fax_B said they have answered a lot of it. My biggest issue at the start was being able to apply different hourly rates based on the type of work.
I guess it'll depend on how you use it day to day, I probably would have used another software if I didn't catch the promo during last holiday season.
