When meditating I have went lucid. When I was younger it was so easy to be awake and dreaming I would always wake up right before having sex most times it felt liken was away but flying jumping supermhigh or running in the woods .
In conclusion it happened frequently as a kid

dreaming of flying really close to the ground trying to get higher usually ended waking up with a really hard boner...

Most of the time I'm in lucid dreams I end up getting murdered. Some masochistic tendency perhaps.
This one re-occurring figure, this killer, always finds me and ends me in a lot of gruesome ways.
The scary thing is that I don't wake up that easy. I suppose my attention, as stated in that image, is taking away by this murdering figures action.
As he/it twists and turns his knives and tools in my stomach I'm in this amazing panic. Guts spill out.
Other times it's more gruesome. Other times I'm merely being choked to death. But the one common thing is that I can't do nothing as my body is completely numb. No matter how much I try to get away I can't move. My eyes are open; I see my apartment, and my body, and the killler coming in; but I don't wake.
That weight described in that pic, on the chest, that weight is all over. Which is almost as panic inducing as seeing this faceless murder gut your insides.
The only way to wake up is for me to scream in sheer terror. No other part of my body responds. My neighbors hate it. So does my gwife, I'm sure.

- Another fear is that of posting stuff on forums that others think are odd.Idon't haveit, obviously, but some commentators may ;)Peter
- I don;t think you're odd. I more think that sucks for you.ETM
- Cheers! Can't think of much else that makes me feel so alive (after-wards) than seeing myself murdered. :)Peter

Lucid dreaming is overrated and something I wish I didn't have to deal with. A good nights sleep is a lot better!

This is going to sound like utter crap but I'm going to say it anyway... Since having kids, there have been occasions when the kids have got freaked out by a spider in the bathroom at bath time. I don't kill insects, so often I will trap them under a glass and then get back to the difficult task of wrestling two children through bath, teethbrushing, bedtime stories and finally bed.
Often, by the time I've accomplished that I've forgotten about the spider under the glass. On those nights, I have really incredibly lucid dreams which always feature heavily on a dialogue or negotiation with a spider. The dreams are really incredibly intense and a little freaky. Its a bit like a Naked Lunch sort of vibe, and the spider is usually in a slightly threatening position, but engaging me in a negotiation.
I'm not saying spiders are telepathic... its probably just my guilt floating up from my subconscious because I've left the poor bugger suffocating under a glass, but its happened so regularly that I have come to suspect, in less rational moments, that spiders might have some kind of a sixth sense.

I started this just after high school, a friend put me on to it.
Used to be great, flying, building things, all sorts.
something happened, not sure what though, and now it happens all the time in a negative way. Night terrors where I cant wake up even though I know Im dreaming. Sleep paralysis sucks. you lie there trying not to slip back into the horrible dream you were having but you cant move and it slowly sucks you back in. you can sometimes get your eyes open and you try move your mouth to wake someone up next to you so they can wake you up but you cant.the only thing i found to wake up from the lucid dream is to shake my head from side to side as hard as i can. Always feels like im doin it in some thick jelly or something. that slowly brings me out the dream and wakes my body up. then i have to move around a bit so i dont just slip back into it

I had these things everyone night... it was horrible voices cursing around me... night terrors were becoming more disturbing, but still I kept testing how far I could go but never really got to the nice phase.

Meditation and lucid dreams go hand in hand. When you can train your mind to be present but without thought you are beyond dreaming though some say pure consciousness.

i have one where im walking down an alley in the burbs at night. i have a red hoodie and grey shorts on. i can feel myself slowly taking off but i don't know how to control it. but it turns out floating/flying is easy to learn and after a few minutes i can duck and do flyby's under wires and bridges. then i try to go back to where i took off flying over houses and i can't remember where it started... i feel tired and can feel that i can 'shut off' my flight and start to free fall... before i hit the ground i wake up smiling

i lucid dream about once a month...
would love to be able to do it 'on command' so to speak, as it's always a ton of fun..but it seems to be pretty random for me...
I've had sleep paralysis a few times, and it was always incredibly awful, but that's very very rare for me...only a few times in my life...whereas the lucid stuff happens fairly frequently...can't say enough good things about the lucid dreaming...it's amazing...nothing quite as awesome as feeling like you're awake, but suddenly have 'god-like' powers...flying, etc...

I've always been too scared to start. I have an addictive personality, as well as an evil mind, these two don't go hand in hand. My adventures whilst using tranquillisers were pretty awesome, then a little dark, and then worse. Coming to, in a puddle of sick, thinking you were swimming in a placid lagoon is the final straw.

A track that some buddies and I have been working on. Here's one verse all about SoLeo's experience with Lucid Dreaming / Astral Projection. really cool stuff, i did all the production, he wrote and performed the verse.
