still thinking that the designer got a little 'influenced' the the Sriacha and Sambal Oelek contains you see in many Thai/Vietnamese/Chinese restaurants
- the designer is heremonospaced
- and if that is you - it's cool. but im just sayin' i love those bottlestwokids
- so i see the influence - ok?twokids
- Haha... I am the designer, The influence is from the culture I grew up in and currently live in. There are probably thousands of brands globally that use a Rooster.bzsaw

@twokids all kidding aside.... the rooster is a cultural thing ( Portuguese / Filipino etc ) here in Hawaii. The logo is based on my Daughters pet rooster Coco. You can read more about that here: http://www.honolulumagazine.com/…

@sine thank you, yes my wife and I make it. We're going to do a video soon telling the whole story and showing the process... Have a great weekend.

i've seen this packaging design featured around the web recently. who knew it was a qbner, and you make the sauce yourself. good stuff.

@monospaced the sauce looks transparent because it wasn't shaken up for the picture. We don't use any thickeners, oils or sugars to keep everything suspended in the bottle. So after a period of time it will settle.
@fadein11 That would look cool but we're trying to use the least amount of plastics possible. Our label is paper and totally biodegradable. The only plastic currently used is the cap and the security sleeve. Thanks for the thoughts.

The labels would look nice on clear vinyl with white ink showing the colour of the sauce behind. Just a thought.
- that would remind me of that old messiah cd...and that is a good thing. i still remember that design to this design. so dif. at the time http://i.ebayimg.com…lvl_13

I'm buying a pork shoulder; I'm making adobo, and I'm gonna get sauce. Which one is best for pork adobo? Why in the pictures does the jalapeño sauce look so transparent? Peace.
- Personally I'd use the Jalapeno or Habanero depending on how much heat you want. All of them taste good on almost all foods.bzsaw
