also; creative director. sr interaction designer. interactive designer.
you gotta kill one, fuck one, marry one. go.
But a good CD (if not digital) will trust the Interaction Designer to know what's best and/or let them into the conversation.
the man should always lead the dance.
I'm not sure who "leads" really matters. Everyone should be involved in the design process.
depends on what you mean by 'leads'.
leads a project: sr interaction designer (depending on the type of project and organization of the company. CD may lead if it's a large complex project with multiple designers for instance.).
leads a design team: CD.
leads a project - sr interaction designer
directs the creative department - cd
remember how everybody was an AD 3 years ago? Now everybody is a CD.
Also watch out for the intern who is now a Creative Concept Developer.
just make sure it's not the client's brother in law who "knows this stuff" who's leading the dance.....
The CD Leads, as in most senior team member outlining global strategy of the account (and not the fresh-out-of-school kid, first-year in the workforce, who calls themselves a CD).
Kill them all. Fuck myself. Marry someone not in the design field.
Marry the CD for the money, fuck the interactive designer because she's the youngest, and kill the sr. interactive designer for the hell of it.
