It's a bit silly that we only care when a celeb says something hectic, but hey... Just wanna know your thoughs on this- obviously I think rape of any sort is worth a dick-chopping.
But if a girl is completely completely wasted and in a dude's bed, should we not say that they shouldn't have been there in the first place? I for one certainly don't go wandering down dark alleyways on my iphone6 or leaving the keys in my unlocked car ... and there have been plenty cases where the girl basically regretted it, so cried rape instead of facing the shame of a shitty decision. Heck I know of a guy who is on the sex offender's register because he got caught cheating so she cried rape to get back. (proven, but legal system fucked up and can't take him off)
So where do we draw the line? I mean if a dude is in mid shag and she says stop, but he's about to pop so carries on for 20 seconds, is that rape?
Then on the other hand, if we give blokes that little leniency, how much will a lot of them take, destorying girls' lives?
I think I stand where most would on this- a case by case basis, very severe penalties for rapists, but also very severe penalties for girls who wrongly accuse, as they completely weaken the conviction system and undermine other girls' lifetimes of fear. But with all of these things... how the fuck do you prove anything other than that there was intercourse?
ps also, dolphins do it so why can't we?? heheh

If you ban rape you should also ban cars.

Let's just admit that we all make mistakes, both men and women.

It's rape if you don't give consent. Blaming the victim is despicable.

Yeah I nearly deleted this thread just before posting. Then I thought to myself fuckit... what am I afraid of? One off you disagreeing? One of the biggest problems about this issue is that no one is willing to talk about it because they might just say the wrong thing. (maybe I'll start a racism thread too)
Speak your mind, people!!

Yes, you fucking stop—what the hell is wrong with you to even ask?
All over the Internet I keep seeing young men complaining about rape laws and claiming women everywhere are falsely crying rape, and all it tells me is that women should be really concerned about the attitudes of the men they are meeting.

- I would, shoulda made that more clear. But you'll be surprised how many wouldn't.Projectile

I think using common sense would not hurt...
Banging a chick that is completely wasted, borderline unconscious is morally wrong, and I bet rather boring too...
As girl saying mid-fuck "sorry love, I change my mind; now you are raping me" is rather convenient too...
The ergonomics of the equation pose a non-symmetrical situation, where men by default are legally at loss, as physically are in advantage... However I will draw people's attention to the fact that it is not only through physical strength that you can force someone into having sex, so not sure if that argument is completely valid.
Probably the cultural side of it is also playing a big role. I know of many male friends that when younger drunk shit loads, to then wake up next day with an amazingly fugly fat woman (even a guy?) next to them.
Other than feel horridly humiliated (especially when photographic evidence reached public eye) they never considered reporting that as a rape.
We've got a long way to go until reaching gender equality, and to my opinion it will never be such thing. I understand that you need legal grounds to balance things up in a fair manner, but to me it would be more reasonable to understand and celebrate the differences other than mould people into non-existing and even sometimes non-wanted equalities.

you really aren't clear abou this?
this is dumber than men claiming rape and the woman saying but he had a hard on so he wanted it.
