This guy squeezed my agency for HOURS of work on the clock and in overtime and now refuses to pay their large bill. This nut bag had the audacity to call our team in the wee hours of the morning, bitch about creative, then praise us in the same breath for putting up with his neuroticism.
This guy had a site he wanted built into Hubspot (which is absolutely garbage btw, refuse to work with it—trust me!), had ZERO clue of its limitations (which we informed him of several times), and is now refusing payment because he isn't happy with the final result. The final site design is pretty awesome, but thanks to Hubspot, it has been significantly diminished in terms of quality and functionality.
We would have put a CSS Killswitch on this site but Hubspot didn't Allow external style sheets. Any ideas for legal payback? We don't have access to FTP or Hubspot any longer to take down our files either.

Just reference the legal ramifications that are clearly stated and defined in your contracts and invoices. Point out the late payment fees and the course you take when no payment is received. If the client doesn't live up to their end, you proceed with the legal actions you defined in the contract. It's that simple. You have those, right?
