Holmes was armed with an AR-15 assault rifle, a 12 gauge shotgun and a Glock .40 caliber handgun (displayed in the order listed)

now i don't have any experience in this field, but it would seem beyond the Glock .40 caliber , these weapons would be hard to conceal? no one saw him coming in? how about he guy who sold him the ticket? is it not unusual to be waiting a trench coat (if that's what he wore to conceal) in the middle of summer in Co?

i guess is bought the tickets in the afternoon.antagonlsta3/16
which of these is used for hunting? which was designed to kill an animal? oh...monospaced4/16
they should ban trench coats in Coloradomonospaced5/16
"Another source tells AP the assault rifle was equipped with a high-capacity, drum-style ammunition clip."antagonlsta6/16
      tru dat monomoldero7/16
if you give me a rife i would say it's designed to kill. distinguished from human, animal or enemy, does it matter?antagonlsta8/16
      matter?antagonlsta9/16
it matters, and if you can't see that then we can't really have this discussionmonospaced10/16
well, your argument is limit by fire rate. or some guns aren't meant to kill people.antagonlsta11/16
The 1st is generally used for target shooting, but, since it is chambered in .223 it can be used as a hunting rifle for deer and smaller game.melq12/16
      ...and smaller game.melq13/16
The 2nd is used for small game hunting: turkeys, squirrel, ducks, pheasants, etc. Also popular for home defense.melq14/16
The 3rd is typically for personal protection. This is about what you see on the hips of law enforcement officers.melq15/16

I hate when news sites do this in photo galleries.

Literally 24 photos of the same exact thing from a helicopter.

    From CNN.

"Source: Suspect in shooting at screening of Batman movie had colored his hair red and told police he was "the Joker." "

LOS ANGELES—According to sources, some soulless fucking piece of shit at Warner Bros. is wondering how last night's tragic shooting of 12 people at a screening of Dark Knight Rises will affect ticket sales for the blockbuster film. "God, I hope this doesn't ruin our shot at the opening weekend box office record,” said the unimaginable asshole, noting that the cold-blooded murder of a dozen innocent people could deter moviegoers from seeing the film with friends throughout the weekend. "At least the international numbers will still be very strong. We can take comfort in that.” At press time, the oily, subhuman son of a bitch was reassuring coworkers the movie would definitely still finish number one in North American box office receipts for 2012

I don't like to generalize, but have been with pretty problematic people in my life and I always saw the same pattern, it seems like, and this applies to only "civilized" parts of the world, if you came from a distressed family, broken, alcoholic or divorced parents that brought you nasty years during childhood and teenage years, you're more closed to get tangled in life and become someone harmful to yourself and/or others.
Irresponsible parents are the main reason before guns and any other shit.

    Not mine but on topic:

    In one year, GUNS murdered
    35 in Australia,
    39 in England and Wales,
    194 in Germany,
    200 in Canada, and
    9,484 in the United States.

    • that can't be true. 200 in Canada? damn!oey1/3
Pontless stat. It has to be per sample (1,000 or 100,000 people etc) given the population differences.ETM2/3
ETM - The UK's population is NOT 240 times smaller than America, if that helps your interpretation any.detritus3/3

now this is on topic and mathematically relevant... per capita, the USA is #12 on the list of deaths by guns behind

    South Africa
    Colombia
    El Salvador
    Jamaica
    Honduras
    Guatemala
    Swaziland
    Brazil
    Estonia
    Panama
    Mexico

    • so uh, yeahalbums1/4
Yes, please. Let's equate more apples and oranges.TheBlueOne2/4
all those countries have way too many guns circulating, what kind of point are you making?ernexbcn3/4
