Apparently the guy's own mother knew as soon as she heard about it that her son was involved. If you know your kid is THAT fucked up and has the potential to harm other people but do nothing to stop it – I can't help but think you're partially at fault.

^ Founding fathers thought it was a good idea to have the right to bear arms. They weren't talking about handguns, fully-automatic assault rifles & smoke grenades. They were referring to muskets that took minutes to load and reload and that were questionably accurate and reliable. If they were around today they would probably be shocked at how their words were twisted.

it's a mistake to over simply the problem of gun violence by responding in a solution of outlawing firearms. Take a look at the nations drug legislation and you'll see it does very little to curb drug activity. Shit, drug abuse is not only high in illegal substances but also prescription / so called controlled substances.
also look at nations that do outlaw guns, they too have gun violence. why isnt that number zero? people are simply going to use guns.
the problem is deeper than "take'em guns away" and most advocacies don't even offer real world logistical solutions. look, the guns are already out there, making them illegal or forcing voluntary incentives is a 100 year late response.
i've think the solution is in the ammo. since the guns are already in circulation, why not track the bullets (rfid) the technology is possible and in use in other industries. (as in tracking individual units instead of or/with lots) today, you can buy up to 1 metric ton of ammunition without having federal involvement and even after that ton you can circumvent most federal interviews.
it's the lobbist we must confront.

I hate to say this but some people should commit suicide.. why go out of your way to hurt the world because of your own miserable existence? Have some dignity, reason with yourself, and then rid the world of yourself before you hurt anyone else.. Many people look at suicide as weak and uncalled for - but we should reconsider this - what if that person was on the verge of committing a mass suicide?

Fast forward to 1:10. This guy was in the theater, and quotes Dark Knight, and compared what happened here to the movie.
Cringe.

children shooting guns, blame the guns.
children using drugs, blame Mexico.Maybe if American parents actually spent time raising their kids instead of letting TV raise them, just so they could "keep up with the Joneses" kids wouldn't feel the need to either lash out or get numb because its either one or the other.
target the disease not the symptom.
