Ate lunch in Aurora last Thursday on our way to Breckenridge. Don't know why I'm even mentioning that.
But anyhow, while waiting to fly home today I read a bunch of stuff on Above Top Secret. Not watched that video above yet. But I'm struck at how many people seem to just instantly assume there's some hidden story about what happened. It's got to be exhausting looking for hidden agendas in everything that happens in the world. I mean, there are people on that site who talk about their Internet access being cut off for writing certain things on the web, and then being talked to by the FBI. Just read the stuff about how people think Holmes' dad is somehow involved or something.

Though I guess the complicated nature of reality, especially in tragic events, is hard for people to process or deal with. A fantasy land of secret governments, psycho-influential weapons and grand conspiracy theories is comforting for some. Almost how people use religion to guide them through tough times.

A man accidentally shot himself in the buttocks last night at a Nevada cinema during a screening of The Bourne Legacy.
The 56-year-old victim's injuries are not life-threatening and no others were hurt in the incident, which took place at a theatre in the city of Sparks.
Police said the man had a permit to carry a concealed firearm.
The man told officers the gun fell from his pocket at about 8.40pm as he was adjusting himself in the seat and that it discharged when it dropped to the floor.
Bizarrely for the other cinemagoers at Century 14, he then apologised and left the building before police arrived.

Judge enters not guilty plea for Colorado shooting suspect James Holmes
http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/look…
In somewhat of an unexpected twist, James Holmes declined to enter a plea during his arraignment Tuesday morning, so the judge made a plea of not guilty on his behalf.
