Any suggestions of good alternatives to Magento for a small business to easily set up a shop online.
A friend has a small business website and would like to either integrate or link to a skinned online shop.
He wont have money to pay me to do it and will probably want to do it himself, so the least techy solution possible.
Business is UK based.

Big Cartel? Shopify?

WHAT is he selling though? That makes a big difference to the choice of eCart/CMS/etc.
If it's only a small selection of non-customisable widgets, then PayPal might be enough ... if it's a wide selection of customisable woollen hats in sizes with different flair options, then a simple PayPal integration probably wouldn't cut it.

Just paypal code works fine, the most adaptable I've found

If it's Wordpress, then Shopp has been my goto shop plugin.
