After zooming out pretty far, something got stuck and I can't pan in composition panel. I can't even see anything unless I'm zoomed way out. In other words, the hand tool is not useless. Any suggestions?

I restarted and I can get things moving a bit, but it gets stuck and is pretty wonked out. Seems like a program bug. This is CS5 on Mac 10.6.8

are you on active camera or one of the other views? also, set your magnification to "fit" and see if that resets it

Just active camera. I'm not using any 3D or other view. I'm dealing with a very large image, motion blur and the processor is just dorking out.

switch your preview mode to 'crappy'?

    • I'm being serious actually... can't you reduce your preview mode and that should free up some RAM?PonyBoy1/2
also... can't you increase the amount of RAM the app uses in the preferences? (and close everything else)PonyBoy2/2

I had to simplify the PSD I imported. Lucky, I hadn't done any work on that part. It's working much better now. Thanks.

1920x1080 with about 30 layers. I was able to cut it down to about 15.CyBrainX2/2
