Do any of you programer types have a preference other than the default?
- redred0
my personal guidelines:
1. monospace fonts are great to keep alignment consistent
2. fonts that distinguish well between "1" vs. "l", "O" vs. "0"
3. good options: monaco, lucida console, courier, etc.- yep.mikotondria3
- Exactly. I've switched before and the spacing was all off.Jaline

QBN overload has reached critical proportions in my brain. I now think of the user monospaced before the typestyle... I need help!

Bear in mind an important requirement for coding is that the font covers a wide Unicode range, at least all Latin variations. Those are good and free:
- Bitstream's Vera Sans Mono is a base for many fonts, i.e. DejaVu Sans Mono, Menlo and Mensch (also I think Panic Sans coming with Coda)
http://robey.lag.net/2010/06/21/…- Liberation Mono which is the same font as Cousine
- Droid Sans Mono
- Envy Coder
- Inconsolata mentioned above
- M+ series (used in Kod)
