Not a fan and reads as WIG/WIE.
Not sure what you're trying to do here or what you're trying to create - have you seen something similar and you're trying to replicate it?My advice ....
Get down to your local art school library and look out some of those old 70s/80s logo books at examples of well designed logos and how they work (or don't work).- No, just a play with my name and looking at shape which are interesting, and play wi the eye.pillhead

Totally see Wig. Can somewhat see Wie.
I think you need to play with the weight of the line and/or the length of it if you are going to try and make this work. Definitely don't need it on the versions where your full name is spelled out either.

Im seeing WAG in the W/G ones
- me too, in the (from the top left:) first, third, and one below the third. WIG in the others.johnny_wobble

not sure what the forward slash achieves, other than making it read as WIG. It would make more sense if the name was Wayne & Grant.

hrmmnn.

increase the diagonal line - won't read as WIG
- << good idea.Hombre_Lobo
- I thought that, too. Make it taller or reduce the width. Being the same weight as the character makes it read as a character.Josev

Well it's still in working progress so I will have to keep trying and see what I can come up with.
Cheers

I agree with 303 - the reason it's reading as an I is because it's the same height as the surrounding letters. A bar/slash should be longer to read correctly. It might even descend.

I read wag. you don't wanna be a wag.

just work with the W and G without the slash, or make the slash more obvious.

Could you use W+G and extend the G? Or frikkin raytrace it?
