I've loosely posted about this before, but now it's a bit more real, so I thought I'd do the natural thing and start another thread. I'm off to Melbourne (not Florida) next week for a month or so - any recommendations while I'm there, interesting things to do, places to see? I'll be mobile so I can get out of the city, and don't mind taking flights if it's worthwhile. I've got a bunch of things to do with my girl there but it's also a bit of a tester to see how I get on with the place and to see if it's going to be good for relocation, so some different suggestions would be appreciated. Anything along the lines of galleries or studios to visit or contact (I've got a couple), people doing interesting things there that might not show up in an internet search for "cool things to do in melbourne". Anyhow, thanks in advance.

You could probably organise a visit with Andy (andy_ssw)or Adam (force12) from SouthSouthWest or Simon (d0mino) and Jenna from the Hungry Workshop - design and letterpress studio.
If you run into a beautiful little hippy girl named Alice with dreads, let her know that capn_ron is trying to get in contact with her.
Thanks man! I owe you a fosters and a shrimp-on-the-barbie.
In the city - Degraves St & Hosier Lane for some graf / art destinations.
Bump for Alice!
I'll let Alice know for sure when I see her. I have a good feeling about this.
Drop us a line Ben.
I have a message, Alice says Hombre_Lobo is all the man she will ever need.
