I went a year ago in Nassau Coliseum. Get ready for intense projection mapping and a great show.

Considered going, but opted not to for a couple of reasons:
1. Wall was my least favourite Floyd album.
2. They are playing at the Skydome in Toronto (worst venue, worst sound quality).
3. Last time I saw Roger Waters a few years ago at said venue, they were half-way through the first song by the time they let half the people in on one side of the building...The projection mapping sounds like it will be cool though, hope its good!

went last fall in toronto....probably one of the all time best concerts of my life....if you're a floyd fan, it's essential viewing. 100% amazing show....cybrain has it right....insane projection mapping....mindblowing stuff...... and man...roger is in top fucking form.....just a great, great show..... and quite likely the last quasi-pink floyd show we're likely to see......unless nick and convince dave to go out for one last tour (which apparently nick quite wants to do, but dave needs convincing)...i'll keep my fingers crossed...but in the meantime, this show is the tits.

I passed last year when the wall came within driving distance to my town. I didn't want to spend the $250 a ticket but was disappointed I didn't go after the fact. After the show a friend that went said he would have rather be sitting in the cheap seats so he could see the entire show. Now it's coming to my town I opted for the cheap seats ($99 a piece HA!) so I'll let you know in 6 months how it went.

One of the most amazing I've ever seen.
Be sure to be in front of the stage.

$250 a ticket?
wow.. I can't think of a single thing I would pay that much to see right now..I'm going to keep thinking though, maybe something will pop up..

and while I'm sure it will be great, I can't imagine the projection mapping will be better than amon tobin's...

Tickets ended up being only $140 - not $250.
However after going I would have easily paid $250. That was the best production I've ever seen! That wasn't a concert - it was a theatrical production of EPIC proportions!BEST LIVE SHOW EVER PRODUCED BY MAN
!!DO NOT MISS THIS!!

I'm to see this at the end of the month but was leery about the ticket price. A friend in Cleveland saw the first leg and bought the VIP $350 tickets that insured him in the first few rows on the floor. He's a huge Floyd fan and said he would have rather sat in the $99 seats in the back so he could the entire show. So I took his advise and bought the cheapest tickets I could which was still about $120.

or you could just stay home and get fucked up and watch the DVD for next to nothing... but then again I've been doing that a few times a year for the past few decades and the closest I've ever gotten to see Pink Floyd was sitting outside of a stadium listening to them because $60 seemed to expensive to see them at the time.

I saw the original concert back in the day, Amazing!

So last night I sat right above the soundboard and control booth and spend almost as much time watching their monitors trying to figure out how they were producing the show than watching the stage itself.
The projection graphics were so crisp and it was amazing how they could isolate the images on each individual brick in the wall.
The sound was decent but the blow up props like the school master and pig were kinda cheesy and the school kids were poorly choreographed.
Roger looked and preformed pretty good for an 68 year old man, he actually looks better than he did in the 70's and 80's.
Unfortunately the thing I will remember the most of the evening is watching someone projectile puke for about 25 feet on his way to the bathroom and me trying not to step in it on my way in and out of the bathroom.

Thought The Wall was a Pink Floyd Record / Show... what a self-aggrandizing cunt.
- Roger wrote most of it and came up with the concept and owns the rights.fooler
