  So I'm pretty sure I just blew up my Epson Stylus Photo R2880. I used a faulty adapter to plug a US printer into a socket in the UK. Yeah, i know i know. It was just stupid. It started smoking out the back and now my living room smells like asparagus.

  Anyone out there experience this and get it repaired without further problems?

  I happen to like asparagus. Crunchy not soggy. You might want to try burning Eucalyptus to get rid of the smell in your living room. Other alternatives might include baking soda, and coffee grounds.

  heh.. i meant to repair the Epson.

  I might try the eucalyptus to cleanse the evil spirits that might be haunting my printer tho just to be sure.
