    • I prefer buttons. I don't forget to close buttons...Longcopylover

Lie. 'I'm going to go lie down,' you illiterate fucking cretins.

    • Well if you want to get pedantic, neither are correct English. I'm going to go AND lie down.set
    • Sounds so american and just plain wrong without the "and"set
    • Well, true, the 'and' is required.Continuity
    • So it's: "I'm going TRUE to go AND lie down"sted

    • science is factmonospaced
    • not if the theory is notyurimon
    • if the theory isn't sound, the facts of the scientific process will expose thatmonospaced
    • replaced with new theory to be proven which is belief in process of proof. still science doesnt have the tools to explore consciousness.yurimon
    • yes, that's the scientific method... fact.monospaced
    • and of course science has and continues to develop tools to explore consciousnessmonospaced
    • but that's really beside the point heremonospaced
    • belief until next theory, belief until next theory, repeat. nothing wrong with unless it gets political.yurimon
    • FFS...get a job moran!utopian
    • the belief is in the process alone, the theories are always questioned, constantly. without the questioning and revising, it would be like religionmonospaced
    • i have a job. lol. this what so funny about your own moranismyurimon
    • it becomes religion when it becomes absolute authority for truth.yurimon
    • no idea what you're talking about with "i have a job." nothing here is funny, I'm just saying that the scientific method is the best source of determining truthmonospaced
    • unlike actual organized religion, which at this point doesn't continue looking, but simply claims it's done and has the answer, which of course is not truemonospaced
    • Therefore, science isn't something that is fact or not fact, it is simply a process that can be believe to produce answers that are reliable. Method, not dogma.monospaced
    • Oh, I see, you were responding to "get a job moran!" from utopian, not me. I didn't see that.monospaced
    • most science which is based on theory is fact. ok sure. plus when it becomes political and claims authority and projects the same dogma as religion. yeah fact.yurimon
    • I didn't say that. I said that the process produces facts, and it constantly questions itself to produce them. All progress is attributed to it. Fact.monospaced
    • Science is a mere process. That's a fact. Everyone knows that. Comparing it to religion is pointless.monospaced
    • Religion doesn't waste its time with evidence. It is conveniently unquestionable as a result. Science does the opposite on both fronts. Fact.monospaced
    • process doesnt produce facts all the time so and some processes could be challenged as false in some cases. other wise you will be stuck in a materialyurimon
    • reductionist paradigm. though one could say its improving, one could also say its digressing because of over specialization. its not a one all fit all or ayurimon
    • monopoly on truth, which if it is then you are implying is a religion and scientists are the priests.yurimon
    • Science doesn't produce facts all the time. That's true and it's happy to admit that. Also true is that it does provide real answers on a regular basis.monospaced
    • once again comparing to religion is pointless since religion is a belief system and science is just a process of figuring shit outmonospaced
    • concidering science comes from religion. i recommended a book. concidering a mystery build on science, the pyramids which back then was religion. included mathyurimon
    • https://images-na.ss…yurimon
    • since science doesnt understand consciousness like certain practices, though not religions could be considered as such.yurimon
    • your 3 religion model of the universe needs more unlearning. science does not have full authority on truth and has many limitations which make it a belief ifyurimon
    • taken as an obsolete.yurimon
    • Yurimoronmoldero
    • ^ i'm pretty sure you have it all figured out. that why you have your fake spirituality logo.yurimon
    • id recommend you a book but i dont think you would understand cause books are like kryptonite to you.yurimon
    • Foaming at the mouthHayoth
    • hey, fact: science has more understanding about actual consciousness than any other process, religious or otherwisemonospaced
    • you only know like 3 religions, and all 3 are prob mainstream. you prob know like 1 science lol. main stream as well. plus seeing the world in a stereo typeyurimon
    • helps. please enlighten me on different concepts. see its easy to see things as stereo types especially the past with an ignorant dogma.yurimon
    • and maybe you should look more into the sciences behind consciousness ... the fact that I'm not versed in the most obscure of dead religions is meaningless.monospaced
    • they can say whatever they like, but it doesn't change the fact that science is a process whereby people figure shit out, and it's incredibly advanced at thatmonospaced
    • if you want to go around throwing out challenges, then show me an established religion that is actually providing proof of progress like science ismonospaced
    • but please, don't bother calling me ignorant or question my intelligence or education, it doesn't help your case, and I'm not doing that to youmonospaced
    • I know lots of scientists who've dedicated their lives to cutting edge sciences who are respected worldwide. They are not part of any conspiracy.monospaced
    • So no, I don't know just 1 science. The fact is, the sciences are just part of the process of scientific exploration and method. It's a method and the best onemonospaced
    • Things like transcendental meditation might be cool to think about, but they crumble under any rational scrutiny. Fact.monospaced
    • there is physical sciences like observing with control, experiments with biology or chemistry. thats just common sense. but certain phenomena like magneticyurimon
    • fields, and territory of where theology is. like god etc. is at par with religion because its all theory no matter how you slice it.yurimon
    • so for you to make a blanket statement that science is know all solve all. especially when if its scientocracy.yurimon
    • today sciences says this is good for you tomorrow we learn it was a bad idea. lol, sure how is different then anything else thats a theory not factyurimon
    • there is no evidence that those areas of theology are anything more than theory. worse, they can't provide answers because they conveniently can't be testedmonospaced
    • fact is, under any scrutiny or test of any kind, none of those theology theories you speak of actually hold upmonospaced
    • personally, I would love it if they could... if mind control could shown to work, and if we could find a mechanism, but to date, there's absolutely nothingmonospaced
    • well you can try to measure something using a wrong method or approach thinking its fact until some comes along with controversial theoryyurimon
    • just because something like the vedic concepts exist and you lack ability to understand doesnt make it falseyurimon
    • and you dont know if the abstract math formulas are true because there is no way to test them. they try to compensate by patching up where the math doesnt work.yurimon
    • so there are areas where science is more beneficial and areas were its not. the level of material of observation is where it ends as far truth. any monkey canyurimon
    • observe the material world. the abstract ideas, some principles in like veda as an example on the same playing field.yurimon
    • you have to do better then making blanket statements of scientific worship. its become a religion if trying to push it as absolute, in areas where it going inyurimon
    • wrong direction. plus there is science for the masses which is pseudo truth like the way priest kept all the knowledge while the flock thinks the world is flat.yurimon
    • because science in mostly a process with a high theory to fact ratio. it cant be labeled as absolute fact or truth. otherwise you would not pursue trying toyurimon
    • figure shit out. lol. its fact guys we are done. nothing more to research we figured it out. lol. said no scientist ever.yurimon
    • exactly, scientists are never done figuring shit out, unlike religion which just makes shit up and doesn't allow any way to prove/test itmonospaced
    • therefore, everything you consider beyond science is nothing more than abstract ideas, as you've put it. Nothing more, nothing less.monospaced
    • you can't turn to abstract ideas for actual answers, as they are only there in concept, not reality where math actually functionsmonospaced
    • you just proved my point that something in flux is not fact. thanks.yurimon
    • which is why science exists, to take things in flux and figure out real answers, something religion has failed for thousands of years to domonospaced
    • because when it comes down to it, only science can show how something is or isn't in flux, and how trustworthy it is as a reliable answermonospaced

Holy hell... my web hosting company sends an email out overnight saying I've been successfully migrated to a new, better server. OK great.

So I go to pull up one of my sites, and everything is down. Going to 404 pages, or just parent-level directories with a CGI Bin folder.

Contact support chat, and they can't tell me at all when it will all be back up.

Who the fuck does a server migration by migrating data AFTER you've changed what server the accounts point to? That's literally what I can deduce they have done. Changed over to point to the new server location, then started migrating however many accounts they have on it.

    Unbelievable.

Clients who bitch like fucking bitches about deadlines, decide that they don't like the images (from us and another outfit - whose image was fucking gash by the way) then demand new versions in double-quick time - only, ONLY, to turn around about three hours before the deadline and say the images are now needed for 'next week sometime'.
