Steve Jobs' legacy 'hijacked,' says Apple's Jony Ive
https://www.yahoo.com/tech/s/ste…- Regardless if he was a nice guy or not - it does feel all pretty exploitative. Steve Job$$$$inteliboy

In a life of many many accomplishments one of the things I love - that defined his thinking, was to make the original mac b/w. At the time, color was the big deal - and there was a war on to see who could add more colors. Apple comes out with a black and white computer!
And it changed everything.

One of the greatest creative minds to date. Taken way to early. So sad. Rest in Peace.

come on. lets be a bit realistic here
how can you really morn someone you don't know...???
it's a bit like the leave britney alone guy in youtube...I think its ok to say that jobs changed the way we percive tecnhology, but he wasn't a saint...
had its flaws like everyone else...like someone said he created nice machines, not a cure for Aids or world hunger... thats something that

- mourning steve is nothing like the leave britney alone thing and you know itmonospaced
- jesus.. people on 9/11 were killed and had to leap into their deaths if they didn't want to burn.. comparing that to Jobs is like.. I don't know..stupid?monolith

Hard to imagine how graphic design, as we know it today, would be different if Jobs hadn't included those fonts in the first Mac.

popfodders, i can tolerate other opinions in this world. more the merrier. but you're conclusions are all wrong here. Jobs personal drive to define himself and his company was the catalyst to the success. you equate his adoption and the choices his mother made as a direct link to contribution and meaning Jobs did in this world. as if that and that alone was the significant event.
now it is true that if his mother killed him as a fetus he would not be here. But you use his celebrity status to prove an unrelated point. and that is a cheap way to move people. Why not us Jesus, Cesar, jeffrey dahmer or even Hitler as mentioned ... all are credible choices by your way of rational. i guess i expected more cleverness out of you.

the iPhone is the most futuristic gadget we can put our hands on. He's the genius behind it. Pushing the limits, without him the technologic world have been super slow to reach the point we are at now.

- Apple has numerous think tanks, consultants, strategists, and tech geniuses who were the real people behind the iphone.Dodekahedron

Jobs - "Design is a funny word. Some people think design means how it looks. But of course, if you dig deeper, it’s really how it works."

Oher tweeted those posts from an iphone too. I suppose maybe he really didnt know who he was, but was that really the time to be tweeting that out to the world when you're famous? Not smart.
