Is there a way to find and replace missing fonts in MULTIPLE (open) Indesign files at the same time?
All I'm getting from Google is the regular Find/Replace and one-at-a-time Font find/replace stuff.
I have like 30 of these files with 5 missing fonts each that need to be swapped out for our own versions.

just open 'em up and do the "swap" (a new dance sensation).

Are you using character or Paragraph styles?
Not the solution your looking for. But it would make the tedium go faster.

^ Normally I do, but these are files we provided to a Chinese translation service. For some reason they replaced the fonts we gave them (for the words that remained in English) with their own, and didn't update the styles, and didn't provide their fonts (which would let me do a GREP find/replace).
Anyway.

How about creating a book, then importing all your files and then you could maybe work something out

In the time you've spent googling, posting and waiting for an answer you could be done. Doesn't sound like a hard task.

Alternatively you could open the offending fonts in a font program and make sure all the names correspond with what the Chinese Translators used and save as...

ESKMA - I mentioned that already, at the start of the thread. It doesn't do multiple files at the same time. Which is what I was looking for.
Amicus - Don't fret, they were done, one at a time, before this thread reached 4 replies. No it isn't a hard task, it's just tedious. All I wanted was an easier way to do it across multiple files. (Your second 'solution' is nonsense.)
- I know. I re-stated the obvious because I don't think there's another solution.ESKEMA
