I updated the text formatting. Instead of textile-based codes it now uses simple HTML tags: b, code, em, i, strike, strong, sup, sub, and u. Anchor tags aren't allowed but URLs are still rendered as links automagically.

Scarabin and Crown (aka Mr. Anonymous) have been dropping gems in the chat room. Tons of exquisite corpse drawings. Worth a look. My drawings? Not so worth a look :p

I've been trying to track down a bug: If I have multiple windows open on the chat refreshing at different rates now and then one of the windows will miss a single post. It's rare, but definitely not ideal. If anyone has some insight post it here and I'll take a closer look when I can. I don't think it's a server-side bug, I think it's something wrong with how I'm adding child elements to the page... Maybe. And if so, it's in the JavaScript.
Other than that... friendly QBN chat morning post bump.
- why does it refresh when you submit a post? that's crap dudejadrian_uk

Some anonymous person made a ton of beautiful drawings in the Spooky room last night: http://chatttr.com/spooky
And s/he drew some in the main room as well: http://chatttr.com
If you want to see it check it out soon. Screen grab. Print to PDF. Because things only stick around for 24 hours or 100 posts, whichever comes first.

@jadrian_uk: Was a flaw at first, but now allows me to put totally updated code on server and everyone gets updated as soon as they post. So it made upgrades painless even while people are using the site. I've figured out a better way to do this now without having it always refresh (and still allow total upgrades on the fly) but no time right now to implement it.

using mozilla, seeing double of my own post, fucked up OS.

Just added a quick fix: user names at the top. This is so not elegant, but it was a quick and dirty hack. Names will remain in that list until their last post gets bumped off the stack. (So 100 posts later.) Again, not elegant, but it's a step in the right direction. Have to run, otherwise I'd work on it more.
