Client has a very fixed budget. They need a looping DVD of a bunch of JPGs that auto-runs and auto-plays.

They gave me an InDesign file with each JPG on a separate page (fail, I know).

Is there a way I can quickly bounce these pages to JPGs so that I can quickly dump them into iMovie and create a DVD loop.

Not trying to go the route of copy and paste from InDesign to PSD, then saving out each JPG...

get the jpgs separately, and ignore the entire indesign debacle

fuck any client wasting my time on stupid client initiated problems... i.e. an indesign file full of jpgs, especially if on a limited budget

    hope that helps.

you can export each page in ID as jpegs..

    File > Export...

Select .jpg as format and you can choose range, quality etc.

    • usually looks terrible. compressing an image of an already compressed image. just use the linked filesjaylarson1/3
if the files were linked, then dMullins would just use the source images. >derp<brandelec2/3
DERP YOURSELF, some idiots created this without linking files, derp derp.dMullins3/3

    Go it figured out...

    1. Export PDF from InDesign.
    2. Open PDF in Acrobat and split document in sets of 1 page per new PDF.
    3. Create action in PSD to convert PDF to JPG.
    4. Profit.

    • why not just export directly from ID though?brandelec1/2

that's prob the best bet given that the reason they were in ID, I'm assuming, is that they were cropped and manipulated, hence, using the source pics might be more trouble in the end. the end.

    • i'm saddened by image cropping in indesign :(registe1/2
