Developed a theme for a client. Now they want to save costs and use the same theme for their 19 different companies. Think senior living care centers.
What's the easiest, fastest way for me to do this? I need to just replicate the setup to 19 different servers. Download and re-upload didn't work, and now I am frustrated beyond belief.
Please assist.

Wouldn't you just need to copy the folder for the theme over to the new site?

Use wordpress as a multisite...one install...19 sites

I would set up 19 separate installations of WP, all with their own unique databases. Then I would upload and apply your custom theme to all 19 installations. Finally I would populate each of the 19 sites with it's own unique content. It'll be a boring job with a lot of repetitive tasks.
I've done this exact same thing for a client who wanted 4 different websites with the same theme.

Forgot to mention on my above post that this was before WP 3.0. Now there is a multi-site option that may be of some use: http://codex.wordpress.org/Creat…
I haven't researched it or used it though.

And spend 19 hours updating, locking down, backing up and fixing issues constantly each week.
Good luck with that.
