The correct way is "optically".
Its a tricky one. On initial glance number 2 felt better, more balanced. After inspection I would categorically go with number 1 though. Odd.
why is "my" placed like this?
i totally think
1. uses the grid and it auto-centered in Photoshop
2. uses manual adjustment to account for "MY" carrying less visual weight on the far left than the weight of "Y" on the far right and its relation to the curvature of the "D"
Essentially 1. is left aligned with the 'MY' popping over the gridline.
2. Is centre aligned
try a different approach.
uno. The two most visually dominant should match up.
1 feels better to me
destackify™ the MY to read proper, then rotate 90 degrees counterclockfidget™
"auto-centered in Photoshop"
your doing it wrong. fire up illustrator.
1 one more for 1
Super Greg, Numba One...
both look same to me. :/
that eye makes me tink of a cult though
Make MY part of LIFE
And center it.
