@moldero.. the Hardcore servers for BF3 are down. DICE is currently working on the fix. you may find one, however most likely you will not.

to find the hardcore servers here is a vid..
1- click on Multiplayer
2- click on Server Browser
3- use the right joystick [R3] click to get to the servers
4- you can set the amount of players the rounds start with [20, 15,10,5]
5- Mode [CQ, RUSH, TDM, SQDM, SQRUSH]
6- MAP [ORIGINAL AND B2K]
7- PRESET [NORMAL, HARDCORE, INFANTRY]
8- RANKED [YES/NO]
9- REGION [EUROPE, WEST US, EAST US, SOUTH US, JAPAN, AUSTRALIA] in case you want to play against other players around the world.
then hit the [O] key and let it save..
then when the server browser refreshes, it will show your choices only and the servers for them as well, it will keep a history of the servers you play on and you can favourite them as well.
- Quick Match will not place you in a Hardcore server, it will only place you in a Normal match.– e-pill1/2

e-pill i tried joining you a couple times but i played too much kz3, that damn disguise ability got me in the habit of giving everyone a burst...that doesn't work well in hardcore more :(

Killzone 3...one of the classes had the ability to disguise themselves as your team, the fastest, most reliable way to make sure you were not being approached by an enemy in disguise, was to fire a quick burst of bullets at them. If they had the cloak ability on, then they would flicker back to looking like the opposing team, and if it was a friendly, no harm.

Alan Kertz .. Core Gameplay Designer for BF3 is no longer working for DICE on BF3. he has left to work on a new project. i wonder how all his patches and updates will change or be changed by the new team developing and working on BF3. his reign was given to 2 others.
he posted this "news today" on his twitter account. "Demize99" search for it on your own.. i still refuse to ever enter that site.

Googled and googled, can't find how to change my PS3 active soldier name. Please reply if anyone has done this. This is nothing to do with your Origin user name apparantlky (which I've changed already)

I'm seriously considering the Eagle Eye to keyboard and mouse this game. I'm fucking awful with a controller.
- i tried the mouse thing with the ps3 a couple years back since i was used to playing bf2 on pc a decade ago– moldero1/5
  it was weird, long story short, i gave it to a relative and went back to the controller, though it still sucks– moldero2/5
  gotta say, if i still had it (mouse ps3 thing) ide give it another try, because it is MUCH better on pc– moldero3/5

in order to change from hockey_getz to a new name, you must create a new user id on your PS3, then log into Origin and or make a new account linking your new PS3 id username, you must also create a new Battlelog name to tie back to your new user id on your PS3.. you will also need to activate the new user id thru the Playstation website. it is a lengthy process.. ive done it recently..
also you have to have a separate email address that is different from your hockey_getz account.. if you want a new user name.
you will also start off from scratch and will have to re-play everything to get to where your current stats are.
now if you already have another account outside of your hockey_getz account the rest is rather simple..
on your profile page on Battlelog, at the very top, in the middle.. that shows you your "Active soldier" and to the right of that is BF3 PS3 with a drop down arrow that if clicked will show you your active and in-active soldiers.. so if you have another account on your PS3 that is logged into Origin already, all you need to do is change it right there.
if you already activated your new ps3 account thru the playstation website, Origin website and Battlelog website you are set to go.

- its fun starting from scratch.. you get to annihilate all the eagles b4 you even reach lvl 5– e-pill1/3

i tried to get on with you yesterday e, but you were running the kirkland expansion pack which i cant get, been having problems accessing the psn store ever since that psn hack, I'm guessing its because my credit card addy is stateside but me and my ps3 are not, been getting some kind of error, cant add funds to wallet, thinking of just buying a psn card online somewhere.
