Is it possible to have the default link treatment in Chrome to be to open links in new windows rather than new tabs?
Or am I just full of fail?

Right click - open in new tab, or alternatively - press CTRL before you click with the left mouse button.

Left click with shift held down - you'll get a link open in a new window.

Standard behaviour should be if the target is _blank, it opens in a new window, not a new tab.
At the very least, there should be the option to manage this yet I cannot find anything of the kind.

99% of the time I want to open a tab instead of a new window. Especially since with Chrome opening new window spawns a new process. If I want to open new window, I usually just right click and use the menu.

target = _blank doesn't say anything about a link opening tab vs a new window anyway, there's really no way to differentiate in the A tag.

Firefox was completely pissing me off. So slow and a huge memory hog. Flash also kept bombing out my machine comletely as well...
Chrome so far so good - except for the window thingy. I can live with that though.
