Wordpress comments in sidebar 33 Responses

Working on a wordpress-theme conversion for a client's blog.
I'm trying to get the comments for a post to show up in the sidebar instead of in the single.php. I've implemented the comments in the sidebar of other themes before so I know it's possible.
In sidebar.php I've used:
<?php comments_template(); ?>It calls the comment and comment-form correctly, but when you try to submit a comment from the sidebar you get redirected to a blank wp-comments-post.php and the comment is not posted...
When I call the comments in the single.php, everything works just fine.
I've been looking for hours for a way to fix it...
If anyone has an idea, hint or sollution...
Much appreciated.- Jan 26, 11, 6:29 p.m. – Permalink

Update:
Threaded comments seem to be working in the sidebar. I can reply to already made comments there. But if I want to post a new comment from the comment-form in the sidebar: still the blank wp-comments-post.php.
It must have something to do with the post- or comment-id I presume...
