Hmm I'm all love for Hathaway... but is she saucy enough? I guess she's just been typecast as a demure lass... let's see how she fares. Was thinking Beckinsale but that's just cos I'm used to seeing her in black pvc *heads to the bathroom*

Personally, I think Bane and Catwoman are a pretty good choice. Up to now with Nolan's batman movies, we've had some cool villains, but know one who matches up to Batman in terms of physical strength. I also thinks it's safe to say that Bane will be nothing like the comic or dreadful earlier movie incarnation. Just look what Nolan did with Cillian Murphy as Scarecrow - a great reinvention of a classic Batman villain in my opinion.

Looks like they plan on rebooting it shortly after TDKR. I think if they're going to do this, it shouldnt be an origin story. Is there really any need to tell Bruce Wayne's past anymore?
I think they should keep it somewhat grounded like Nolan's films, but get a little more creative with it, just not over the top silly. Do villains like Killer Croc, but try and keep it realistic somehow.

Source: Daily Bhaskar April 27, 2011Daily Bhaskar is reporting that filming for Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises will take place in India as well:
Vroom vroom.....and even before you realise Batmobile may have blazed past you at a thunderous speed, right here in Jodhpur. Wondering what we're talking about? Get set to welcome DC Comics superhero Batman as he arrives in the Blue City.
The Information and Broadcasting Ministry has given the nod to US-based Cape Road Productions to lense the next Batman flick, ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ in Jodhpur.
Jodhpur is the second-largest city in the Indian state of Rajasthan. The city is known as the Sun City and is also referred to as the Blue City due to the blue-painted houses around the Mehrangarh Fort.
The Dark Knight Rises will start filming soon for a July 20, 2012 release.

Ugh, are they seriously doing that Lezarus pit bullshit? How does that even fit in with Nolan's realistic approach to these movies?

^ Yeah I get all that, but it still doesnt fit, if this actually is the Lezarus Pit. I have a feeling this is something else. I know they cast a guy to play the young Ra's Al Guhl, but maybe thats for flashbacks or something. And doesnt the Lezarus Pit just bring someone back to life, not make them younger?
I just cant see Nolan compromising what he's done with these movies to fit in with some other project. The whole idea of what the Lezarus Pit is goes against everything he tried to do with these movies.

i know people are thinking lazarus pit.. but its more a bane story.. bane is held in a desert prison his whole life, he is born into it..
he then gets venom and becomes addicted to it. and isnt venom a green ooze? hmm..
or its kryptonite.. as DC Entertainment is seeing how Marvel Studios is successful in combining the movies and expanding their franchise.. DC should do the same and since Nolan is working on the Man of Steel as well.. they are slowy tieing the movies together to form the Justice League..

all these people are green..

it can be anything, it can be a green screen and then turned into something after..
