I'm interested in hearing any and all opinions about adobe ideas on the ipad. Complaints, compliments, etc. Your input will help.

No, I come up with my own ideas.

it's ok for drawing something simple. It's kinda weird to get used to drawing with your finger too.

after getting used to using my finger to draw, it is kinda handy. (using thumb and pointer finger as if i'm pinching something and use pointer finger as stylus. pinching a little firmer gives more precision.) most of the time i'm using the ipad while watching tv. bust it out to make a todo list (that i can transcribe later if need). or for doing super basic wireframes/sketches like inspired by something on the tv and just need a sketch to jog my memory later.

i thought i would, but pencil and paper is so much easier. the ipad just felt like it was getting in the way.

it's good for what it is...they're not trying to rebuild photoshop. They are looking for a super lite version. Here's few things I noticed.
take into consideration that I tested on an iphone.I don't have an ipad.
It's a little tough to draw with a finger, a pen accessory would be nice.
could use more brush options; sometimes you don't want clean lines.
expandable stage. Having a fixed stage size keeps it limited.
sometimes when I zoomed it drew first because one of my finders touched first. (probably just takes getting used to)

I've been using it a lot lately. It's really handy to take quick shots that I want to reference or take pics of things that inspire me. I'll page through magazines and use it to snap a quick shot of something I like. But it sucks for drawing/sketching. It could use some improvement but I could see it being very handy...

I do love the palette feature, It would be amazing if there where more features to do with that. I'd like to export the palette, And have more colour options other than 5. It could be insanely with improvements to these features.
In a Dream world
I like it to act as a way to extract and sort useful information from stuff i see in the real world on the fly. So i see some typography. I take a snap of it. give it some tags (hand drawn type) (project_34). I see a colour scheme i like I take a picture make the palette and give it a take tag (Project_34) (green tones) ..
it organised the files for me for review at a later date. Being able to quickly view on all info from them tags, being able to upload to my computer as an illustrator file with all the content containing the selected tags! Would be a massive win.
Would be worth buying.

surprisingly nice actually, even works on iOS 3.x which is good news for 3G users. Only criticism is how the hell do I get colours out of it? Should sync with kulur or something.

So is Adobe Ideas a note book app? - mainly good for superimposing stuff on photos?
