Seems like it was built for motion.

lets emphasise the v and the r with a shadow. our clients will call us vp ro then which sounds kinda cool. Which is exactly how we roll.
probably got some douchebag clients there....

vpro are no douche bags, but the new logo is just a disaster. i like the earlier logo, but maybe for nostalgic reasons.

i like it. i think it's strong, actually. haven't seen it on television yet, but i really think this can work out on a variety of media. the color scheme is young and lively, bright and optimistic. typography is strong and divers. nice use of grid.
i do hate the retro-music supporting it though.

VPRO has defined my childhood so much that I couldn't care less what logo they slap on their excellent product.
It's the guys that brought me Achterwerk, Jiskefet, Van Kooten en De Bie - het Simplisties Verbond - Keek op de week, Kreatief met Kurk, Borreltijd, Firma Onrust, Sjef van Oekel, Diogenes, Tegenlicht etc etc, the list goes on.and off course this defining piece of television history

hi, i like the new logo :-) but i worked with it, recently updated the VPRO Tegenlicht and VPRO Goudzoekers programs i did before with the new font: www.directiondesign.nl. I actually like the new logo's I more than my old ones, even though the treatment is the same (they wanted to keep Tegenlicht especially, the same basically). Thonik did the logo and I worked with them on the leaders. VPRO was suffering from a too fragmented design, and before this redesign, a lack of coherency. Thonik did some nice leaders for VPRO, they all match eachother better graphically now.
