  I haven't listened to the new album yet. Is it any good? Someone posted it in FMT a few weeks ago and a couple of people were railing against it, so I figured I'd be better served not to taint my fondness for the band. Sorta like Broken Social Scene. Listened to their new album and immediately wished I hadn't.

  The new one is great. It's different than the other two, but it's Arcade Fire. There are moments when are are listening and just go 'wow' that's amazing - because they create these rhythmic soundscapes...that are beautiful.

  the new album needs a couple listening, really. After 5 shots, i was like... meeewww, after 10 iam more like, mmmm this is good! Maybe 3 or 4 songs are borings, the rest is good.

  I'm embarrassed to say I never listened to this band before...I really the one CQDE linked to. I found another track from the same album that sounded completely different and I didn't like as much. Sounded like two different bands.

  i love them. i went to high school with Win the lead singer. Very talented guy but super quiet in school. Amazed at how successful he became and i keep rooting for him.
