  I'm sick of my point and shoot, but not sold on shooting manual at all times. It'd be nice to have the option though. I used to do a bit back in the day.
  Whats the best camera for a wannabe photographer like myself? Willing to spend $500 tops.

  do you guys shoot with the rebel?
  if there's anything light years better for a little more $, i'd prob do that.

  i have an original rebel, xti and xsi.

  for your first camera don't spend too much money on the body. camera bodies depreciate incredibly fast. spend a little extra and get a lens or flash.
