What are some of your favorite branded giveaways you've seen for design firms?

Not just coasters and shot glasses, you know?

Honestly... nothing really works in the way you think would work, agencies know that, the smart ones, that's way they send american express gift cards and take you out to lunch when possible. Someone in my office mentioned to an agency the other day that we have a hard time finding pens in our office, and this guy should up with a box of pens that they never bother giving out anymore, if that makes sense.

When working at Absolute Radio they did some promo stuff for a ladies mag. We had a delivery of over 100 Rampant Rabbits (as well as bullet vibe, lube and cosmetics bags). A lot of people didn't take them so my female friends got awesome presents at that time of year.

We also think they fucked up the delivery as we had over 100 crates of James Brown Dry Shampoo:

That's 2400 cans of dry shampoo as a thanks-for-the-promo deal sweetener.

    I suppose these aren't branded...

Absolute has some cool schwag though.

When they were Virgin Radio they used to give out branded Virgin Radio tents for free, which was nice. I still have maybe 5 of them for festivals.

When my startup go to events we bring loads of lasercut necklaces that I make. I also bring them to QBN drinks and force people to wear them.

Nope. I like the burnt edge. I also use a heavy glue ply. I give a light sand to finish the front off but like a dark edge.orrinward22/3
you'd be a favourite customer then, if you like a burnt edge..
      So much easier! :)
