I've always wondered why companies charge as much (or more) for fixies (as they do for regular, good, sensible, geared bikes) .. at least this is inexpensive.

It's a shame what happened to Mongoose. Although they do have a Pro line I think it confuses the brand. I just got an 83 Californian frame to restore at some point.
