  • i use it to stay in touch with friends in a more passive way, see what sorts of projects they're involved with– acescence1/4

    i discover tons of new music, stay on top of new releases, find out about upcoming music and art shows– acescence2/4

    i could go on. perhaps you're not aware of what it has to offer beyond the inanity of farmville et al.– acescence3/4

  I quite then had to rejoin to help manage a fan and product/group page. That was pretty disappointing when you couldn't use a fan login. I didn't even fill out a profile, just email and I got 2 friend requests already. It might top out at about 90 but still, here we gone again. Useless status updates and non talk doodlejarken babble.   My pretension is a different one - I take delight in culling friendships, trimming contacts, because - yes - there is a lot to hate about that place. Or, perhaps more accurately, there's a lot to hate about people.

  Just depends upon how much you let it, I guess.

  A friend has got it set so that you can't even search for her profile... I must look into that.
