  Hi there.
  I am having some trouble to copy/paste or place a text word doc in Farsi.
  As you can see on the pic, the characters aren't the same...
  What i am missing?
  Fonts? Change OS language? I even tried a Ps JS script, but it's not fully functional.

  So far the only thing i can do is to trace the word doc on Illy...

  Try saving a PDF from Word and seeing what you can do with that.

  Thanks!! Does not work on illy, it keeps asking me for the font. But i can import it to Ps...that's fine for me.

  Your Iranian client probably has a font you could use. Worth a shot. If you have a Mac you can install the foreign language support (with fonts from most written languages) from the OS install discs.

  There's a special Middle Eastern version of the Adobe Suite that deals with farsi as you would expect.. (Adobe Suite ME)
