itunes has fecked up on me and has said that it has backed up my previously library as a "damaged" library.

Anybody know how to fix the damaged library and get my playlists back?

I think you've confused QBN with Apple Support.

Had you just downloaded/added something prior to the corruption? That may have caused the problem.

Do you have a recent backup you could restore the playlist data from?

    If not, try this http://support.apple.com/kb/HT14…

I had this happen a while back, about a year ago or so. I remember I eventually gave up and just had to reimport all of my music - all 60 some odd gbs. I remember itunes taking up the good half of a day to do that.
