Its a dog. Just tidy up after it when it shits, don't forget to feed it and keep it away from water, cos it will multiply.
Wait, that last one is for gremlins i think but theres no harm in being safe.

We raised beagles for hunting rabbits when i was a kid. Once you get through the puppy stage, she should be pretty laid back, but remember she's a hound. They have an instinct to track and wander. I'd recommend lots and lots of raw hide chews to get through the whole puppy teething thing.

What about electrical cables, do they like them because if they do, We are gonna have problems, I didn't even think about the shit puppies can produce. 0-o

You have to take beagles out for walks all the time and they hate being alone, they are one of the most single minded dogs alive and they will not stop trying to get out if they are bored so you have to keep it occupied or your shoes are fucked.
Plenty affection and plenty playing and plenty walking keeps these guys happy.

my friend has a beagle...she's awesome. he said it always take a long time to go on a walk, because, as she is a hunter, she stops and smells everything. she's pretty quiet though, but i think he trained her well maybe? i dunno.

Like everyone said - a dog chews and wrecks shit because it is bored so the solution is easy - plenty of play, plenty of exercise and just in case make sure there are fun dog toys / chews around so it doesn't eat your shoes and furniture.

I had a beagle, they are the best. Expect a ton of holes dug in your backyard. They are very loving dogs and can also eat and eat and eat. Puppies can be little terrors, but the dog will mellow out with age. Watch their diet b/c they can get very fat ha.

One of our dogs is a beagle/lab mix. Not the worst dog we've ever had, but certainly a pain in the ass in her own right. She just turned eight and still acts like a damn puppy!
