  Ha, ha! Thanx "miko".

  The only contact I've had since my post was a voice mail: "We're getting copies of our checks to you from the bank. The accounts are closed (no shit!) so the bank is charging a fee to locate them. We will fax those copies to you once we receive them."

  I didn't respond. What would I say? "Can I loan you that fee?" Pathetic, eh?
